Staff

Our Core Chameleon Staff... These much-needed individuals are the dedicated young adult volunteers, who eat, live and breathe the program. They know these kids and understand teen issues. The majority of the core staff go on most all of the trips and also serve as positive role models for these children. We are constantly looking for caring and adventurous individuals who agree in our philosophy and also “want to make a difference.” Each one of our core staff members in certified in CPR and First Aid and has been trained in understanding and adapting to meet the needs of all children.

Experienced and/or Certified Staff: These individuals vary from trip to trip and are certified in the wilderness activity adventure for any specific trip. Certain outdoor adventures require a certified instructor on site during the activity, whether it’s kayaking, mountain climbing, horse back riding, etc. We also collaborate with the UNH outdoor Education Department. Students become involved in the program by offering their services and experience in exchange for education credits or as a practicum.

Marketing Staff: This position is mostly handled behind the scenes. Responsibilities include; media relations, web support, logo development, publication creations, award submissions, and/or anything else that pertains to marketing this worthwhile program to the kids, parents and potential sponsors.

Additional Support Staff: This staff is made up of those volunteer individuals who are also working on the program behind the scenes. These responsibilities include funding solicitation and additional administrative tasks that might be needed to support the program.
