Supporting Organizations

Club Chameleon is very pleased that we have been able to create a Win/Win collaboration with the University of New Hampshire’s (U.N.H.) Outdoor Education (O.E.) Department. This strong relationship is based on several factors. Many O.E. students need direct service hours leading wilderness trips. Our trips are a perfect fit for their requirements.

Many students also have practicums for projects up to 100 hours. A normal 3 day / 2 night trip can account up to 48 leadership hours. Initially, three very dedicated Outdoor Education students helped us lead our first trip, which served as leadership hours. They were so excited about the program that they went on to help us create our Club Chameleon manual, which met a practicum requirement.

The following are the other UNH Education Disciplines that have since got involved in our program. It has been a chain reaction of support.
